Serving Anchorage since 2006
Where we paint across Anchorage
Campbell Painting works out of our shop on Harriet Court, and our own crews handle every job — we don’t subcontract. That means the same standard of prep and finish whether you’re in a 1950s Downtown bungalow or a view home on the Hillside.
We cover Anchorage from Government Hill in the north through Rabbit Creek and Bayshore-Klatt in the south, and we travel out to Girdwood.

Anchorage neighborhoods we serve
Pick your neighborhood to see recent projects, local considerations, and what a job there usually involves.

Abbott Loop
A mix of 1970s and 1980s subdivisions where original siding and trim are reaching the end of their second repaint cycle. Exteriors are our most common job here.

Bayshore-Klatt
Coastal-facing homes on the south end taking wind and salt air off Turnagain Arm. Surface prep and a properly specified exterior system matter more here than anywhere in town.

Downtown
Older housing stock and small storefronts, often with layers of previous paint and pre-1978 substrates. Careful prep and lead-safe practice come before anything else.

Government Hill
Anchorage’s oldest neighborhood, with wood-sided homes from the railroad era. Restoration-minded exterior work and interior repaints on original trim are typical.

Huffman-O'Malley
Larger lots and newer custom homes on the south Hillside. Cabinet refinishing and full-interior repaints make up most of what we’re called for in this area.

Mid-Hillside
Larger hillside homes with view-facing elevations taking the full weather load off the Chugach front. Exterior repaints and cabinet work are the jobs we’re called for most here.

Midtown
Where our residential and commercial work overlaps most — offices, small retail, and mid-century homes side by side. We schedule commercial jobs around your business hours.

Rabbit Creek
Spread-out homes at the south end of the Hillside with long exterior elevations and heavy snow load. Access and staging planning are part of every estimate here.

Sand Lake
Established family subdivisions west of the airport, mostly single-family homes due for their next exterior cycle. Interiors and cabinets round out the work.

Scenic Foothills
Northeast Anchorage homes backing onto the foothills, with sun and wind exposure that shortens the life of a cheap exterior job. We spec for the exposure.

Spenard
Eclectic older homes and mixed-era trim near Lake Hood, where character siding rewards careful prep. Exteriors, interiors, and cabinet refinishing are our regular work in this part of town.

Turnagain
West-side homes near the coastal trail, many mid-century with original wood siding. Exterior prep here has to account for moisture and prevailing wind.

University Area
A mix of owner-occupied homes and rental property near UAA and Providence. We handle turnover repaints on a tight timeline as well as full residential projects.
Beyond Anchorage
Girdwood
40 miles south on the Seward Highway · 99587
Yes, we paint in Girdwood. Because of the drive we batch Girdwood projects together, so scheduling runs a little further out than in-town work — book earlier in the season if you’re planning an exterior.

Careful prep work, then they transformed a plain, faded old Anchorage home into a neat, sharp-looking, much-improved model.

They painted the exterior of my house during the coldest spring we’ve had in over fifty years. I couldn’t be happier with the results.

From start to finish the entire house was completed in about a week, which exceeded our expectations.
