Third Generation Painters
Anchorage loves our quality painting
In 1955 my grandfather opened the first Benjamin Moore paint store in Alaska, Ralph’s Paint Shop. Ralph’s was also the start of my family’s legacy; it instilled a love for paint in all of us.
My first job was stacking shelves at Curtis and Campbell, a shop opened by my grandfather and later co-owned by my father and uncle. Working there solidified my passion for paints and made me excited to help run the family business someday. That dream was forced to evolve when Curtis and Campbell was sold in 2006.
Since I took over Campbell Painting in 2010, it has expanded to include 5 crews that operate year-round. This growth, as all do, was accompanied by its fair share of hardships. I am grateful that in those times, I was been able to lean on the wisdom of my family and their generations’ worth of knowledge.
